Our advice and expert advice in pharmacy

We cut ourselves, and now a wound becomes a perfect gateway for germs. They find there favorable conditions to proliferate, which can lead to abscess (pain, local redness, swelling, pus), or even infection leading to fever.

Superficial wounds are simple, small wounds. Even if they seem harmless, they should be treated to avoid complications and in the first place the infection. Find the right actions to take and know when to seek the advice of a health professional.

  • 1st step : The wound should be cleaned with soap and water and thoroughly rinsed.
  • 2nd step : Clean with an antiseptic. It is necessary to differentiate antiseptic and disinfectant. An antiseptic is a treatment applied to the injured skin to locally eliminate bio-organisms.
  • Step 3 : Protect with a protective bandage.
  • 4th step : Apply a healing dressing.
