Our advice and opinions from pharmacy experts

Salicylic acid , a keratolytic acid marketed as a drug, is one of the most common treatment for warts .
associated or not with lactic acid . Salicylic acid softens the wart and causes the upper part of the wart infected with the human papillomavirus to sag . Before starting to use salicylic acid it is recommended to remove dead skin (white parts), this will help the solution to penetrate deeper into the skin.
