In the case of a slight sore throat, you can buy your treatment yourself and successfully treat yourself.
Just take what has worked for us before in our medicine cabinet, because many do not necessarily want to run to the doctor at the first symptoms, for lack of time and savings.
The pharmacist can then advise you effectively.
But if you see that there is no improvement after 48 hours and that your condition seems to get worse: run to the doctor.
Likewise, in case of sore throat accompanied by fever, it is necessary to consult immediately: an angina which is badly treated can have serious repercussions.
Only he will be able to prescribe the right treatment for you and especially see if the problem is viral or not.
Self-medication is therefore to be used in moderation and should be avoided in pregnant women, young children, people with heavy medical treatment, or the elderly.
