MYTEST DETECTION OF MYLAN LYME DISEASE 1 KIT
My Lyme Lyme Disease Detection Test Lyme disease Mylan may indicate the presence of antiprotoprosps against the bacteria responsible for Lyme disease from a drop of blood.
Lyme disease is caused by a bacteria Borrelia burgdorferi which infects ticks, insects living in the forests of temperate climates. Following a bite, these insects can transmit the bacteria to humans (1 to 2% risk of transmission). The bacteria attack the nervous system and can cause serious neurological disorders.
During phase I (2 to 4 weeks after the bite), the immune system produces in 40 to 60% of cases immunoglobulins M (IgM) directed against the bacteria. During phase II (4 to 6 weeks later), IgM is detectable in 70 to 90% of cases. Finally, in phase III, IgMs are generally present and can therefore be detected.
Three to ten days after the bite, or even several weeks, inflammation and redness may appear at the bite. Sometimes a feverish state accompanies the inflammation.
There is an effective antibiotic treatment to take as soon as possible to avoid serious neurological disorders.
EPIDEMIOLOGY: In France, according to the Sentinel epidemiological surveillance network, 33,000 people contracted Lyme disease in 2015 but, according to the patient association "Lyme sans frontières", many more cases are to be deplored.
The LYME SELF-TEST detects the presence of IgM directed against all European strains of the bacteria of the genus Borrelia.
OBJECTIVE OF THE TEST: The LYME SELF-TEST is a whistleblower, an alternative for people who would not consult for this, for example in case of erythema without certainty of a tick bite. On the other hand, the diagnosis of this pathology is very complex. In the event of erythema migrating following a bite of a tick, it is advisable to consult your doctor.

Our pharmacy expert advice
With the detection of Mytest Lyme Mylan, you determine for yourself whether you are infected with the bacteria Borrelia. This bacteria is transmitted by a tick bite, capable of transmitting Lyme disease. The test is based on IgM antibodies in the blood. The body produces these antibodies when infected with the Borrelia bacteria. The test result appears on the test cassette after ten minutes. If you have been bitten by a tick, you can get Lyme disease. This disease affects the nervous system and can cause various serious symptoms: ocular, neurological, skin conditions, fatigue and symptoms of rheumatism. A tick bite is identified by the red circle that appears a few days or weeks after the bite. Sometimes flu-like symptoms may appear. The disease can be cured at an early stage with antibiotic treatment. Unfortunately, a tick bite is not always noticeable. If it does, the disease spreads. The Lyme disease test to be done at home allows you to discover a possible infection with the bacteria Borrelia.
