The active substance is :
Folic acid 5 mg for one tablet.
The other ingredients are : pregelatinized maize starch, calcium hydrogen phosphate, anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose.

Folic acid is one of the B vitamins. It helps prevent neural tube defects, such as spina bifida or cleft palate. The neural tube is the basis of the nervous system. It develops at a very early stage of pregnancy: from the first day after fertilization.
