Description of Pouxit Repul Lot Lice Spray

Pouxit Repellent Preventative Spray Anti Lice 75ml is a lotion indicated in the prevention of scalp infestations by lice (head lice) in adults and children over 3 years.

This repellent repels lice and prevents re-infestation. It is ideal during periods of school contamination, often seen in the back-to-school period.

It contains Citriodiol®, a repellent active of natural origin with recognized effectiveness

Citriodiol is extracted from the plant Eucalyptus Citriodora (or Eucalyptus lemon). This substance of natural origin has demonstrated its repulsive efficacy on several stinging insects (lice, mosquitoes, ticks ...).

• In the United States, Citriodiol® is the only natural repellent whose effectiveness is recognized by US health authorities in preventing the transmission of certain diseases transmitted by biting insects.
• Tests at the Entomology Center in Cambridge have shown the repellent efficacy of Citriodiol® against lice.

Repellent Pouxit is used during periods of lice epidemic (back to school, summer camps ...) or in case of risk of reinfestation.

• Spray the lotion at 10-15cm distance from the hair.
• Apply Pouxit repellent uniformly and in sufficient quantity on the hair so as to completely cover the hair, by insisting on certain sensitive zones: the nape and the contour of the ears.
• Allow to dry in the open air.

Since lice are difficult to see with the naked eye, they can be detected by the symptoms they cause. Indeed, during the first infestation with lice, severe itching usually occurs 2 to 6 weeks after infection. Sometimes small red dots may be visible. In the case of head lice, itching occurs both during the day and at night, and visible lesions due to scraping are mainly behind the ears, neck and neck.

• Make sure you have good lighting: As the lice are leaking light, it is possible to see them move with the naked eye. Nits are motionless. You can use a magnifying glass to see them better.
• Wet the hair before combing it
• Be meticulous and methodical: First look for the nits and separate the hair into small sections, going from one side of the head to the other. Be attentive and look near the scalp. The nits are greyish-white, oval in shape and firmly attached to the hair. Look first behind the ears, on the nape, then on the top of the head.
• Look for at least one living louse: If you find nits, there may be live lice. Continue your exploraton carefully.
