Description of LCA Organic Essential Peppermint Oil
Hybrid of aquatic mint and spearmint, it is a perennial plant with a long and creeping rhizome. This perennial and herbaceous plant likes a cool, clay soil. Peppermint has a quadrangular stem 30 to 90 cm high, slightly tinged with purple red with oval leaves, acute and opposite of a beautiful green. Its purple flowers appear in ears tight and short on the top.
The essential oil of peppermint has many virtues such as:
Local analgesic +++ (menthol): anti-pain by "cold effect" thus acting against muscle pain, blows, neuralgia and headaches.
Tonic and stimulant +++ (menthol): hypertensive, it stimulates the heart muscle by its cardiotonic action. It is also neurotonic and thus improves alertness, concentration.
Antibacterial ++ (menthol): bactericidal effective against the following microorganisms: staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus responsible for lung diseases, coli bacteria responsible for digestive and urinary diseases.

Precaution of use
- Irritant, and powerful cooling effect : dilute to 30% maximum for a cutaneous application.
- Never mint essential oil in bath.

- STRICTLY PROHIBITED IN INFANTS BEFORE 30 MONTHS (toxicity by local contact: laryngeal or nasal reflex may cause respiratory arrest).
