What is LCA Cajeput Essential Oil 10 ml used for?

Cajeput essential oil (Melaleuca Leucadendron Cajuputii) has external analgesic, antineuralgic, pulmonary, intestinal, urinary and genital anti-infectious properties. It is also expectorant, antifungal, antifuruncular and photoprotective.

What are the characteristics of Cajeput?

Cajeput essential oil has been used against cholera and rheumatism by the Malay and Javanese people for a very long time.Cajeput has been known in Malaysia since antiquity, as its leafy bark was used to make boats watertight. Theessential oil was used as a remedy in Indian and Chinese medicine. Planchon reports that in the Far East, a drop ofcajeput essential oil is added to tea for nervousness or rheumatic pain.

In Germany, this oil has been used since the 8th century. 75 tons were exported from Dutch India in the 1940s. Valnet (20th century) attributed broad-spectrum antimicrobial, pulmonary, intestinal and urinary action, as well as antispasmodic and vermifuge properties to theessential oil. He recommended it for dysentery, cystitis and bronchitis, as well as for neuralgia, hysteria, nervous vomiting and rheumatism. He recommends applying a drop to a decayed tooth.

Cajeput belongs to the Myrtaceae botanical family, and its leaves are the organ of production. Its essential oil is excellent for diffusing and massaging, very good for bathing and can also be used orally.
