The cyst is a perennial shrub 1 to 2 m high that likes the dry places of Mediterranean scrubland.

Properties:

  • Anti-coagulant
  • Healing
  • Powerful anti-hemorrhagic, astringent, hemostatic
  • Invigorates venous walls (varicose veins, arteritis)
  • Anti-infectious, anti-viral, anti-bacterial: immuno-stimulant

Hemostatic

Cistus essential oil stands out for its remarkable effectiveness as a hemostatic agent. The monoterpene carbides it contains give it an exceptional ability to stop bleeding quickly and effectively. This property makes it a preferred choice for emergency situations such as small cuts, scrapes or skin wounds requiring immediate hemostatic action. By applying Cistus essential oil locally, you can significantly reduce bleeding time and promote optimal healing.

Healing

Thanks to its composition rich in monoterpene ketones, Cistus essential oil offers exceptional healing properties. It promotes the regeneration of damaged skin tissue, making a significant contribution to the healing process. By accelerating tissue repair, it helps minimize the risk of infection and prevent the formation of unsightly scars. Cistus essential oil is therefore an invaluable ally in promoting rapid, effective wound healing.

Antiviral

Cistus essential oil has powerful antiviral properties, thanks mainly to the presence of alpha pinene in its composition. This molecule acts effectively against viruses by boosting the body's immune defenses and inhibiting the spread of pathogens. By actively combating viral infections, it helps prevent and alleviate various ailments such as respiratory infections and seasonal viral diseases.

Calming

The monoterpene esters and ketones present in Cistus essential oil give it remarkable calming properties. Thanks to its regulating action on muscle spasms and its influence on neurotransmitters, it is able to soothe nervous tension and promote a feeling of relaxation. This calming action makes it a wise choice for relieving stress, anxiety and sleep disorders, offering invaluable support for emotional and mental well-being.

Antifungal

In addition to its main properties, Cistus essential oil also has an antifungal action. Thanks to the synergy between alpha pinene and ketones, it is effective in combating fungi and helping to eliminate fungal skin infections. This property gives it a wide range of applications in aromatherapy, notably to treat skin conditions such as mycosis or yeast infections.

Curcuma essential oil is also available from the LCA aromatherapy laboratory, at the best price in our online pharmacy.
