Opticron 2% is an eye drop of Cooper Laboratories is indicated for eye disease of allergic origin (allergic conjunctivitis). Symptomatic treatment of ophthalmic conditions of allergic origin.

OPTICRON 2% EYE DROPS 5ML

Like the skin or the nasal mucosa, the conjunctiva, the thin membrane that covers the eye, is in permanent contact with allergens present in the atmosphere (mites, animal hair, feathers, pollen ...), on the eyelids (cosmetics) or in the eyes (eye drops). In people with an allergic background, these allergens can cause an inflammatory reaction of the conjunctiva, similar to the reaction responsible for allergic rhinitis.

Description of Opticron 2% Eye drops 5 ml

Opticron 2% is an eye drop from Cooper laboratories which is indicated in the event of allergic eye disease (allergic conjunctivity). Symptomatic treatment of ophthalmic conditions of allergic origin .

Using advice and opinion on Opticron 2% eye drops 5 ml

Dosage and method of administration Local route.

IN EYE INSTILLATION.

  • Wash hands thoroughly before instilling.
  • Avoid contact of the nozzle with the eye or the eyelids.
  • Adults and children: depending on the severity of the symptoms, instill 1 drop of eye drops 2 to 6 times a day, at regular intervals, into the conjunctival sac of the diseased eye, looking upwards, and slightly pulling the eyelid down.
  • In children a medical opinion is necessary.
  • Recap the bottle, after use.

Per 100 ml of solution

Sodium cromoglicate ............................................... .......................................... 2.00 g

The other components are :
Water for injections, benzalkonium chloride, sodium edetate.

Precaution for use with Opticron 2% eye drops 5 ml

NEVER USE Otpicron 2% eye drops : in case of known allergy to any of the components of the eye drops.

If in doubt, it is essential to seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

BE CAREFUL WITH Opticron 2% eye drops :

  • NEVER LEAVE OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
  • DO NOT INJECT, DO NOT SWALLOW.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
