Description Opticron 2% Eye drops 24 Unidoses

 

Opticron 2% eye drops contains 24 Unidose a local allergy. It is used in the symptomatic treatment of ocular allergies.

 

Using advice from Opticron 2% Eye drops 24 Unidoses

 

If carefully wash your hands before use.
Pull the lower eyelid downwards while looking up and apply a drop of drops between the eyelid and the eyeball (cul-de-sac conjunctival).
General dose:
Adults and children: 1 drop 2-6 times per day.

INDICATIONS (summary)
This eye drops contain a local antiallergic.
It is used in the symptomatic treatment of ocular allergies .
WARNING (Contents)
Due to its lack of toxicity, this medication can be obtained without a prescription, however a medical opinion is necessary before using it in the child. Also, if symptoms persist, consult your doctor.
The 10 ml vial, unlike the unidoses, contains a preservative (benzalkonium) of the quaternary ammonium family; it is recommended to remove the soft contact lenses before instillation and wait 15 minutes before replacing them.
Conductor: Instillation of this eye drop can cause temporary visual discomfort.
DRUG INTERACTIONS (summary)
This eye drops can interact with other eye drops: respect an interval of 15 minutes between two instillations.

Dosage

· Adult and child: depending on the severity of the symptoms, instil 1 drop in each eye, 2 to 6 times a day, at regular intervals.
In children a medical opinion is necessary.

· Do not exceed recommended dosage.

Method and route of administration

Local track.

IN EYE INSTILLATION

Wash your hands thoroughly before proceeding with instillation.

Open the bag. Detach a single dose. Carefully close the bag containing the other unidoses by folding the open side. Open the unidose by turning the flat top.

Each unidose contains a sufficient amount of eye drops to treat both eyes.

Insert 1 drop of eye drops into the conjunctival sac of the diseased eye, looking upwards, and pulling the eyelid down slightly and avoiding contact of the tip with the eye or eyelids.

Discard unidose after use. Do not store for future use.

Space the 2 to 6 daily instillations.

In case of concomitant treatment with another eye drops, wait 15 minutes between each instillation.
