Description MERCRYL EXTERNAL SOLUTION SPRAY 50ML

 

Mercryl laboratories Vagabond is a drug in the form of local antiseptic solution for skin application   Spray bottle in. Its formula is perfectly suited for disinfecting small superficial wounds (scratches, abrasions, minor cuts, bites ...) the whole family. The benefits of Mercryl Spray Antiseptic:

  • Active on bacteria and fungi such as Candida albicans.
  • Possible use in young children. Nevertheless, there is a risk of passage of the active ingredient into the systemic circulation when used as a skin or premature infants.
  • Colorless: does not stain the skin or clothing.
  • Does not sting.
  • Spray bottle handy and practical, ideal for travel.

Effective Antiseptic Spray Mercryl based on a combination of active ingredients that act in complementarity: Digluconate chlorhexidine and benzalkonium chloride.

 

Using advice and opinion on MERCRYL EXTERNAL SOLUTION SPRAY 50ML

 

Spray Mercryl Antiseptic 1 or 2 is used once daily for 7 to 10 days. The application must be for at least one minute, let it work for the drug.

  • Clean the area before gently removing pebble, dust ... if necessary. Rinse thoroughly.
  • Do not swallow. External use.

Pregnancy and lactation: Seek the advice of your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition MERCRYL EXTERNAL SOLUTION SPRAY 50ML

 

Benzalkonium chloride 0.500 g as benzalkonium chloride solution 0.985 g, 0.200 g Chlorhexidine digluconate solution form of chlorhexidine digluconate 1.065 g, per 100 ml. The other ingredients are citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, purified water. Propellant gases: nitrogen.

INDICATIONS (summary)
This medicine contains local antiseptics .
It is used to ensure antiseptic or cleansing of small superficial wounds.
CONTRAINDICATIONS (summary)
This medication should not be used in the following cases:
  • allergy to quaternary ammoniums ,
  • in the eye or in the ear canal (risk of toxicity in case of perforation of the eardrum),
  • for the disinfection of medical and surgical equipment (see Caution).
WARNING (Contents)
Avoid prolonged use of this medication, especially in children, on extensive or deeply injured surfaces, without the advice of your doctor: risk of drug passage through the blood.
This antiseptic is not suitable for the disinfection of scissors, razors and other potentially contaminating objects. Similarly, it should not be used to disinfect the skin before a sting.
DRUG INTERACTIONS (summary)
Combination with other antiseptics or soaps is not recommended because their effects may cancel out.
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING (summary)
The timely use of this medication during pregnancy or lactation does not seem to pose any particular problem.

Breastfeeding:
This antiseptic should not be applied to the nipple without medical advice. Careful rinsing before feeding is essential.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE AND DOSAGE (summary)
This solution is sprayed directly onto the area to be treated and should not be rinsed.

Usual dosage:

1 to 2 sprays per day.

This medicinal product may be freely available in certain pharmacies; nevertheless, do not hesitate to ask your pharmacist for advice.
Simple washing with soap and water makes it possible to eliminate the majority of germs ; it should be followed by a careful rinse because the soap can inactivate some antiseptics .

This medicinal product is for external use only.

When used on a large area, under occlusive dressing (impermeable to water and air), on a deeply burned skin, a skin of premature or infant, there are risks of passage in the general circulation .

Use with caution in newborns, especially premature infants. MERCRYL SPRAY, may cause skin burns.

Interaction with other medicines
