Mercryl antiseptic solution is a drug family antiseptics. Mercryl is used to sanitize and clean the small superficial wounds.
Using advice and opinion on MERCRYL ANTISEPTIQUE SOLUTION BOTTLE 125ML
Cutaneous. The solution is used Mercryl 1 or 2 times per day for 7 to 10 days. The application must be for at least one minute, let it work for the drug. On the skin, apply Mercryl directly on the wound with a sterile dressing. On mucosal (genital), dilute with water Mercryl: in a clean container, pour 1 part solution and add 9 parts water (either by example 1 tablespoon of solution and 9 tablespoons of water). Then apply the diluted solution on the wound. Please note that the diluted solution should be prepared immediately before use and should not be retained. Ask your pharmacist for advice.
Composition MERCRYL ANTISEPTIQUE SOLUTION BOTTLE 125ML
Benzalkonium chloride 0.50 g (as benzalkonium chloride 0.985 g), 0.20 g chlorhexidine digluconate (as chlorhexidine gluconate 1.065 g). Excipients: citric acid monohydrate, sodium citrate, purified water.

It is used to ensure antiseptic or cleansing of small superficial wounds.
- allergy to quaternary ammoniums ,
- in application in the eyes or in the ear canal (risk of toxicity in case of perforation of the eardrum),
- for the disinfection of medico-surgical equipment (see Caution).
This antiseptic is not suitable for the disinfection of scissors, razors and other potentially contaminating objects. Also, it should not be used to disinfect the skin before a sting.

This antiseptic should not be applied to the nipple without medical advice. A careful rinsing before the head is essential.

This medication is an antiseptic. It is used for antisepsis and cleaning of small superficial wounds.
For proper use of the medication :
It is important to follow the instructions in this manual.
If you have any doubt, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
AT· If you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients of this medication mentioned in section 6

AT· Do not use for disinfection of medical-surgical equipment.
IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO ASK FOR THE OPINION OF YOUR DOCTOR OR YOUR PHARMACIST
When used on a large surface, under occlusive dressing (impermeable to water and air), on a deeply burned skin, a skin of pre-mature or infant , there are risks of passage through the general circulation.
Use with caution in newborn babies, especially premature babies. MERCRYL, solution for skin application , can cause chemical burns.
Use cleanly and do not keep a vial for a long time because microbial contamination is possible as soon as you open it

Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken or may be taking any other medicines.
Do not apply MERCRYL, solution for skin application to the breasts during breastfeeding.
If you are pregnant or nursing, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medication.
Dosage / Administration
MERCRYL, solution for skin application is used 1 or 2 times a day, for 7 to 10 days.
The application should last at least one minute, to let the medication work.
On the skin: Apply MERCRYL, solution for skin application directly on the wound with a sterile compress.
On the mucous membranes: dilute MERCRYL, solution for application with water: in a clean container, pour 1 volume of solution, and add 9 volumes of water (for example 1 spoon ¨re soup of solution and 9 tablespoons of water).
Then apply the diluted solution to the wound.
Caution: the diluted solution should be prepared just before use and should not be retained.
DO NOT SWALLOW
AT· Possibility of contact eczema (redness and de-eating) due to the presence of benzalkonium chloride.
