Description of Tegaderm Sterile Adhesive Dressings 15x20cm

Tegaderm Sterile Adhesive Dressing 15x20cm is sterile and very flexible and resistant transparent adhesive, it does not allow water, bacteria or viruses (HIV 1 and HBV) to pass through, and has good oxygen and water vapor permeability, it facilitates healing in a humid environment, and limits bacterial recolonization for 7 days. Waterproof, it allows showers. The installation frame makes it easy to install.

The central pad is non-adherent to the wound and ensures painless removal. It is absorbent and limits the maceration of the wound. The dressing leaves no residue on the skin, its removal is painless if it is stretched well parallel to the skin by playing on its elasticity.

Advice for use with Tegaderm Sterile dressings

After cleaning the wound, apply the dressing.

The rim in transparent sterile adhesive film makes it possible to perfectly isolate the wound and limit the risk of leakage. It may, if clinically indicated, remain in place for up to 7 days. Its removal is painless and leaves no residue.

Precaution of use

• Do not use TEGADERM DRESSING Sterile adhesive 15X20CM in case of allergy to one of the components.
• Massage the dressing well during application to increase adhesion.
• Do not stretch the dressing when placing it at the risk of creating mechanical skin lesions.

• Dressing for the protection of fragile skin or areas exposed to friction such as elbows, heels or the sacral region (especially with the THIN version).
