What are Freestyle Optium Electrodes used for?

Freestyle Optium Electrodes allows self-checking and self-monitoring of blood sugar levels by measuring the level of glucose in the blood. Freestyle Optium Electrodes Box of 100 are designed to provide a clear and fast reading with whole capillary blood (0.6 μl) in order to control blood sugar. The result is fast, it allows fast reading in just 5 seconds. These pads are for use with the Freestyle Optium meter only .

No calibration or coding is required beforehand to perform blood glucose monitoring.

How to properly use Freestyle Optium Electrodes Box of 100?

For use with Optium Xceed, FreeStyle Optium and FreeStyle Optium Neo readers.

• Use the test strip immediately after opening its foil pouch.
• Test strips should be stored at temperatures between 4°C and 30°C. Keeping them outside this range may produce erroneous results.
• Use each test strip only once and then discard.
• Do not use expired test strips.
• Do not use wet, bent, scratched or damaged test strips.
• Do not use the test strip if the foil pouch is punctured or torn.
• Store away from heat and direct sunlight.

Freestyle Optium Electrodes is formulated with: Glucose dehydrogenase (GDH-NAD Pseudomonas sp), NAD+ (as sodium salt), phenanthroline quinone, non-reactive ingredients.
