What hygiene routine for baby's atopic skin ?
Atopic dermatitis or atopic eczema affects 1 in 51 children and this from an early age! This is often reflected in children by itching sensations. To better support you on a daily basis, discover the advice of our experts
To complete and optimize your little one's skin care ritual, special attention should be paid to bathing and cleaning the skin:
- Use a very mild soap-free gel, which is suitable for your baby's fragile skin.
- Prefer lukewarm showers to too hot baths.
- When you take baby out of the water, carefully dry his skin by lightly pressing the towel. This allows the active ingredients of the emollient cream or dermocorticoid to penetrate the skin better, which you must apply within 10 minutes of your baby's bath or shower.
