For hygiene reasons, boil the pacifier 5 minutes before first use. Leave to cool for 5 minutes before giving it to the baby. If water enters the teat part of the pacifier during cleaning or sterilization: expel it by squeezing the teat. Clean before each use with warm water and soap. Avoid aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents (detergent, dishwashing liquid). Never soak in a sugary liquid or in a medicine (risk of tooth decay). For health and safety reasons, replace the pacifier after one or two months of use.

• MAM recommends stopping the use of pacifiers around the age of 3. Before each use, carefully examine the pacifier.
• Pull the pacifier in all directions. Discard it at the slightest sign of deterioration or fragility. Only use pacifier clips that comply with EN 12586.
• Never tie ribbon or cord to the pacifier, as your child could strangle.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight or strong heat.
• Do not soak in the sterilization solution for longer than indicated, this risks weakening the teat.
• In case the pacifier gets stuck in your baby's mouth,
• DON'T PANIC: it can't be swallowed and is designed for this type of situation. Remove it very gently.
