Phytosun Aroms BOSWELLIA SERRATA Essential Oil Indian Incense Oliban
The therapeutic value of dry gum (guggul) extracted from Boswellia serrata has been known since Antiquity. Boswellia gum was already mentioned in the oldest Ayurvedic treatises.
Traditionally, Boswellia gum has been used in the treatment of diabetes, skin and blood diseases, cardiovascular or neurological disorders, rheumatism, dysentery, testicular diseases and a myriad of other diseases.
For a long time neglected by European doctors and botanists , Boswellia resin was rediscovered by Western researchers at the end of the 20th century, who demonstrated its powerful anti-inflammatory principles without side effects.
