Notes of Ylang Ylang essential oil

Ylang-Ylang's best flower harvests are from April to June at sunrise, until 10 a.m. This EO, very popular with perfumers, is generally offered in four qualities (extra, 1, 2, and 3) representing four fragmentations of a complete distillation which lasts 18 hours on average. For therapeutic use, complete distillation is necessary, since its biochemical composition is more balanced. Its scent is warm and flowery, its flavor slightly bitter, and its pale yellow color. The extra quality is the most fragrant and the most expensive!
