Observations
This EO which contains more than 200 aromatic compounds is widely used in perfumery: its suave and strong smell, of a great olfactory richness, as well as its properties on the skin level quite naturally give it a place of choice in many creams and products of beauty. Its main constituents (citronellol and geraniol) are the same as those of Rose EO, of which it does not however have exceptional finesse and delicacy. Note that the odor of the essential oil of Geranium varies a lot according to the origin, those of China and Reunion being the most appreciated.
