    CONTRAINDICATED:

    - Organic inflammatory bowel disorders (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease ...).

    - Occlusive syndrome or partial SBO.

    - Painful abdominal syndromes of unknown cause.

    - Children under 12 years (except prescription).

    RECOMMENDED:

    Associated treatment:

    - Antiarrhythmic torsade de pointes: bepridil, antiarrhythmic class Ia (quinidine), sotalol, amiodarone.

    - Lidoflazine, Vincamine (non-anti-arrhythmic drugs torsade de pointes).

    Mediflor # 7 CONSTIPATION warnings and precautions for use

    - Drug treatment of constipation is a diet and lifestyle adjuvant treatment:

    . enrichment of the power plant fibers and beverages.

    . physical activity, rehabilitation of the exemption.

    - In children, prescribing stimulant laxatives should be exceptional: it must take into account the risk of hampering the normal functioning of the reflex exemption.

    - Prolonged use is not recommended for prolonged use of anthracene principles can lead to two sets of problems:

    . "illness laxatives" with severe irritable bowel syndrome, colorectal melanosis, fluid and electrolyte abnormalities with hypokalemia; it is rare;

    ASSOCIATION NOT RECOMMENDED:

    Risk of hypokalaemia and therefore drug interactions when used in combination with a stimulant laxative:

    - Anti-arrhythmic torsade de pointes: bepridil, antiarrhythmic class Ia (quinidine-type), sotalol, amiodarone.

    - Lidoflazine, Vincamine (non-anti-arrhythmic drugs torsade de pointes).

    Risk of torsades de pointes (hypokalaemia is a contributing factor, as well as bradycardia and long QT existing space); use a non-stimulant laxative.

    PRECAUTIONS:

    - Digitalis: hypokalemia promotes the toxic effects of digitalis.

    - Other hypokalaemia: amphotericin B (IV), corticosteroids (glucocorticoids, mineralocorticoids: systemically) tetracosactide, kaliuretic diuretics (alone or combined).

    Increased risk of hypokalaemia (additive effect).

    Monitoring of potassium and if necessary correction. Use a non-stimulant laxative.

    - Possibility of diarrhea, abdominal pain, especially in subjects with irritable bowel syndrome.

    2. WHAT (S) WHEN TO USE THIS MEDICINE?
    This drug is a stimulant laxative (stimulates bowel movement).
    It is indicated in the treatment of occasional constipation and is usually 8 to
    12 hours.
    3. ATTENTION
    3.1 In which case (s) do not use this medicine?
    Never Mediflor # 7 AGAINST SNOW constipatio N in
    following cases:
    ♦ some diseases of the intestine and colon,
    ♦ in case of abdominal pain (stomach pain)
    ♦ in case of chronic constipation (constipation long term)
    ♦ in children under 12 without a doctor's prescription.
    In case of doubt, it is essential to seek the advice of your doctor or
    pharmacist.
    3.2 Warnings

    ♦ Occasional Constipation: it may be related to a recent change in the way
    life (travel). The drug can be a help in the short treatment. Any constipation
    recent unexplained by the change in lifestyle, all accompanied by constipation
    pain, fever, swelling of the abdomen must seek the advice of a doctor.
    ♦ Chronic constipation (constipation long term): it should not be treated
    a stimulant laxative.
    It may be related to two causes:
    - A bowel disease that requires support by the doctor,
    - Either an imbalance of intestinal function due to dietary habits and mode
    life.
    Treatment includes among others:
    - An increase of dietary products of plant origin (vegetables
    greens, vegetables, wholemeal bread, fruits ...)
    - An increase in the consumption of water and fruit juices,
    - An increase in physical activity (sports, walking ...)
    - Rehabilitation of the defecation reflex,
    - Sometimes adding his food.
    It is useful to seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.
    ♦ Special case of the child: the child's treatment of constipation is based on
    measures of lifestyle and diet: including the use of good
    amount of water with powdered infant milk, diet rich in original
    plant, adding juice.
    Treatment with a stimulant laxative without medical advice is against-indicated (regular intake
    laxatives in young age may impede the normal operation of reflex
    defecation).
    3.3 Precautions
    This medicine may cause a loss of potassium. The association with other
    medications (such as certain diuretics or certain medicines for the heart) can be
    dangerous.

    To avoid possible interactions between multiple medications, it should be noted

    3.4 Drug interactions and other interactions
    If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines
    obtained without a prescription, especially medication that can give problems

    If you have taken more Mediflor # 7 C ONSTIPATION AGAINST SNOW,
    mixture of plants for herbal tea sachet that you should:
    Discontinue treatment and tell your doctor or pharmacist.
    If you forget to take Mediflor # 7 AGAINST CONSTIPATION SNOW,
    mixture of plants for herbal tea sachet:
    Consult your doctor or pharmacist.
    4.6 Action to be taken in case the administration of one or more doses
    omitted.
    If you forget to take Mediflor # 7 AGAINST CONSTIPATION
    SNOW:
    Do not take a double dose to make up for the single dose that you missed
    take.
    4.7 Risk of withdrawal

    6. CONSERVATION
    Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
