Sebiprox shampoo, which contains 1.5% ciclopirox olamine, is indicated in the chronic skin disease, seborrheic dermatitis , which corresponds to the appearance of red patches, covered with white or yellowish dandruff on areas of oily skin (scalp, face ). These lesions appear in flare-ups.

Sebiprox shampoo 1.5% contains a component called ciclopirox olamine, it belongs to a group of medicines called ' antifungals '. Sebiprox shampoo 1.5% is recommended for scaly, red and itchy scalps (called seborrheic dermatitis).

How to use it correctly

To get the most out of Sebiprox, apply a sufficient amount to wet hair, gently massage into scalp and leave on for a few minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clear water. It is recommended to use twice a week for the first four weeks, then reduce usage to once a week to maintain results.

  • Use Sebiprox shampoo only on your hair, scalp and adjacent areas if needed.
  • You can use a mild shampoo on days when you are not using Sebiprox shampoo.

Contraindications

Sebiprox is generally well tolerated, but it is important to note that some people may be allergic to any of its ingredients. Avoid using this product in case of known allergy to any of its components. If irritation or allergic reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult a healthcare practitioner.

Composition and presentation

Active ingredients and formulation

The main active ingredient in Sebiprox is ciclopirox olamine, a powerful antifungal agent that effectively eliminates dandruff and relieves itching. The formulation also contains moisturizing and soothing agents to maintain the scalp's natural balance and hair health. The active substance is : ciclopirox olamine 1.5g per 100g.

The other ingredients are : sodium lauril ether sulfate 70% cocamidopropyl betaine, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, citric acid monohydrate (to adjust pH), coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide, hexylene glycol, oleyl alcohol, polysorbate 80, polyquaternium 10, AF 17050 perfume (containing in particular dipropylene glycol), sodium hydroxide (to adjust the pH), purified water.

Excipient with known effect : dipropylene glycol (contained in the perfume AF17050).
