Ricinus Communis to Relieve Gastroenterological and Obstetric Problems

Ricinus Communis, a natural therapeutic choice for combating gastroenterological and obstetric disorders, can be effective against certain diseases that are often resistant to conventional treatments. Integrating this natural alternative to treatments based on allopathic medicines may be an option to consider.

Origin and Extraction of Ricinus Communis

From the Euphorbiaceae family, the Ricinus Communis plant, more commonly known as castor bean, is the source of a natural homeopathic remedy. Castor oil, derived from its mature seeds through a process of cold pressing and filtration, is the main ingredient of this medicine.

Presentation of Ricinus Communis

Ricinus Communis comes from the seeds of the castor bean, a plant widespread in India, China and Brazil. With a tri-lobed capsule, the fruit of this plant contains an irritating white latex. The benefits of castor oil are mainly attributable to its richness in fatty acids and glycerol ester, the main components of the oil, and ricinoleic acid, an unsaturated acid.

Application of Ricinus Communis in Gastro-Enterology

The ability of Ricinus Communis to act as a purgative makes this remedy an appreciable solution for the relief of constipation . In case of gastroenteritis or intestinal flu, the use of Ricinus Communis is also recommended. This inflammatory disorder of the digestive system is characterized by abdominal pain, frequent diarrhea, and sometimes nausea and vomiting, with or without fever. Ricinus Communis is also used to treat hepatic colic and dyspepsia, the latter being marked by epigastric pain and nausea, sometimes accompanied by diarrhea but without abdominal pain.

Use of Ricinus Communis in Obstetrics

In obstetrics, Ricinus Communis is an effective way to treat agalactia, a condition characterized by the absence of milk in the breasts after childbirth. Ricinus Communis is also recommended for breastfeeding women who experience a drop in lactation or suffer from feelings of pulsating breast tension and throbbing pain in the breasts.

If there is no improvement within 24 hours, consult your homeopathic doctor.
