What is Flamigel®?
Number 1 in wound care, Flamigel® has treatment power and provides a pain relieving , cooling and calming effect.
A scabless wound heals faster (up to 40%).
Description
This repair gel prevents the formation of scabs and can be used on dry or wet wounds:
Flamigel transforms dry wounds into wet wounds (“hydrogel” effect). The dry wound absorbs the water contained in Flamigel.
On the other hand, in the case of a moist wound, Flamigel absorbs the excess liquid.
Thus, a wound treated with Flamigel always has an optimal moisture level, heals faster and this prevents the formation of scars.

Our expert opinion in pharmacy
Until recently, it was assumed that in order to heal wounds, they had to be disinfected carefully and regularly in order to dry them quickly to promote the formation of a scab.
But the formation of this crust:
slows healing
increases the risk of scarring
does not protect against infections
limits mobility
