Oregano Compactum organic LCA essential oil can be used in case of:

  • Acute and chronic infections , bacterial or viral respiratory tract and ENT: bronchitis, angina, influenza, otitis (periauricular massage), sinusitis, laryngitis and tracheitis
  • Bactericidal, mycobactericidal, fungicidal, virucidal and parasiticidal with a very wide spectrum: uro-gynecological infections (nephritis and cystitis), tropical diseases (mycosis, abscess, scabies, ringworm ...)

Description of LCA Organic Essential Oregano Essential Oil

The compact oregano is a 30 to 80 cm tall plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family . It is called compact because its flowers are grouped in compact inflorescences of a purple pink color .

Advice for use and dosage

Cutaneous application

The essential oil of Oregano Compact must be diluted to 10% for its application on the skin (10% of essential oil in 90% of vegetable oil). It must be applied on small surfaces.

In diffusion

  • Pure Oregano Pure Essential Oil must not be spread, it must be diluted between 5 and 10% in other essential oils.
  • For pregnant women older than three months , its use is possible in atmospheric diffusion.

Ingested

  • Oregano Oral Compact essential oil is reserved for medical prescription .

Precaution of use

People with asthma or epileptics must seek medical advice before using this essential oil.

Because of its important dermocausticity, the essential oil of oregano must be strongly diluted. In addition, it is imperative to perform a skin test prior to the bend of the elbow.

In high doses or in repeated application, the essential oil of oregano   is toxic to the liver . It is therefore contraindicated in case of liver problems. When taken internally, it must be, imperatively, on the advice of a specialist.
