Our advice and opinions from natural health experts
After the shower, we take a cotton swab, we cure one ear, the other ... Then hop, trash. Or worse, the toilet bowl. This habit is good neither for the ears nor for the environment.
Whatever its shape, the ear pick or oriculi is ecological. It avoids plastic and reduces the amount of waste in the bathroom.
For good ear health, avoid washing your ears too often. You could deprive the ear of earwax, its best protection. Once a week is a reasonable rate and recommended by experts for good ear hygiene . In case of spills, you can pass a wet handkerchief over the pavilion.
How to get rid of ear plugs ?
Earwax is a natural substance which protects the ears and the ear canals from external aggressions (dust, bacteria, insects, otitis of the bather, etc.). If it is generally discharged naturally, it sometimes happens that the earwax accumulates to form a plug. This can cause hearing problems, but also cause discomfort.
If the softening of the earwax plug has failed or a medical consultation is necessary immediately, the doctor will examine the ear canal, to confirm or not the presence of a earwax plug. If the diagnosis is confirmed, the doctor proceeds to an ear cleaning.
