Description of Tegaderm Hydrocolloid Thin Dressing 10X12cm

3M Tegaderm Hydrocolloid Thin Oval Dressing 10x12cm 10 Units have a high exudate absorption capacity. They form, in contact with the wound, a moist gel promoting healing.

The gel obtained is homogeneous. Sterile, absorbent dressings, covered with a semi-permeable polyurethane film, impermeable to liquids (sweat, urine, showers) and to exogenous contamination (bacteria, viruses: HIV and HBV), but allowing gas exchange thanks to good gas and water vapor permeability.

Tegaderm Hydrocolloid is flexible and easily adapts to anatomical contours. The contoured Tegaderm Film polyurethane film perfectly isolates the wound and limits the risk of leakage for optimal duration of use and excellent hold of the dressing. Painless, residue-free removal.

Advice for use with Tegaderm Hydrocolloid Thin dressings

After cleaning the wound, apply the dressing.

The edge in transparent adhesive film makes it possible to isolate the wound perfectly and to limit the risk of leakage. It may, if clinically indicated, remain in place for up to 7 days. Its removal is painless and leaves no residue.

Composition

Adhesive hydrocolloid mass, in particular (CMC [sodium carboxymethylcellulose]). Tegaderm Film polyurethane film. Adhesive: hypoallergenic pressure sensitive acrylate copolymer.
