The essential oil of Cistus ladanifère has astringent properties, hemostatic and healing (essential oil can be used undiluted on a cotton swab in nosebleeds or minor injuries). It is used in dermatology and immunology. It is antibacterial and regulatory essential oil of the parasympathetic nervous system.
