HEPANEPHROL Extract Artichoke bottle 200ml

Traditional herbal medicine used in the symptomatic treatment of digestive disorders such as dyspepsia with feeling of heaviness , bloating and flatulence .

Description of HEPANEPHROL Extract Artichoke bottle 200ml

Zoom on the properties of L'artichaut

The artichoke contains inulin, a non-digestible sugar (fructan family), classified as prebiotic. That is, it is not digested by the small intestine but fermented by the bacterial flora of the colon. By stimulating the intestinal flora, inulin plays a beneficial role on the digestive system and the immune system.

This prebiotic would promote the absorption of nutrients by the body.

Artichoke leaves are recognized for their ability to relieve dyspepsia and facilitate digestion. In particular, they increase the production of bile, a biological fluid secreted by the liver, which favors the digestion of lipids and has a protective effect on liver cells .

Indications of the artichoke :

  • Difficult digestion, constipation
  • Dyspepsia, polypharmacy
  • Constipation of hepatobiliary origin

Our advice and expert advice in pharmacy

How to improve your intestinal transit ?

The intestines have an internal clock. Eating at set times helps give your body habits that help ease intestinal transit. Nibbling between meals is to be avoided and avoid skipping meals. Better to have a healthy snack mid-afternoon rather than eating small amounts several times a day because the body will not know when to begin the digestive process. For a good transit, it is also necessary to take your time at the table and chew the food. By eating too quickly, the body swallows air, which can lead to bloating and flatulence.

LEXICON (summary)

alcohol
General name designating a family of substances which have the property of being able to be mixed with water and fatty substances. The most common alcohol is ethyl alcohol (ethanol), but there are many other alcohols: methanol, butanol, etc. The degree of an alcoholic solution corresponds to the volume of pure alcohol present in 100 ml of solution, knowing that 1 glass of wine or 1 half of beer (25 cl) contains about 8 g of alcohol.
When alcohol is used as an antiseptic, a denaturant of unpleasant odor is often added to it to prevent it from being drunk. Contrary to popular belief, 70o alcohol (or even 60o) is a better antiseptic than 90o alcohol.

anti-abuse effect
A set of unpleasant symptoms caused by certain drugs when combined with alcoholic beverages: flushing, flushing of the face, headache, nausea, vomiting.

Hepatic insufficiency
Inability of the liver to fulfill its function, which is essentially the elimination of certain waste products, but also the synthesis of numerous biological substances essential to the body: albumin, cholesterol and coagulation factors (vitamin K, etc.).

Allergic reaction
Reaction due to the body's hypersensitivity to a drug. Allergic reactions can take a variety of aspects: hives, angioedema, eczema, rash reminding of measles, etc. Anaphylactic shock is a generalized allergic reaction that causes discomfort from a sudden drop in blood pressure.

sugar
General term for different substances, the most common of which is sucrose. Other sugars can be contained in drugs: glucose, fructose, lactose, etc. Glucose is the sugar used by the body; it is the only one to circulate in a remarkable quantity in the blood.
Sweeteners (fake sugar) are allowed in diabetics or people on a diet, and are very low in calories.

symptomatic treatment
Treatment that suppresses or alleviates the symptoms of an illness without addressing its cause.

Biliary
Excretory pathways leading bile from the liver to the duodenum. They include the common bile duct and the gallbladder, a reservoir that stores excess bile between meals.
