What is the Therapearl knee thermal compress used for?

Its wide opening rests over the kneecap, allowing you to maintain a wide range of motion, while the Pearl technology acts directly on the pain to relieve it. The soft Velcro strap keeps the pad comfortably in place, even during a workout, at the knee.

This thermal compress is indicated in case of arthritis, joint pain, pain before or after physical exertion or in case of inflammation related to surgery.

How to use this thermal pocket?

This thermal pocket can be used in 2 different ways:

• For cold therapy , put the pouch in the freezer for at least 2 hours
• For heat therapy, the recommended heating times in the microwave for the Therapearl Articulation thermal pocket are:
  • 700W : 80s
  • 1000W : 65s
  • 1250W : 50s
  • To reheat in a bain-marie refer to the instructions.

Precautions for use

• Always check the temperature of the compress before application.
• Prolonged application could cause injury, including burns.
• Do not use on infants.
• Do not use if you have breathing problems.
• Do not use heat therapy on stitches or an open wound.
• Do not fall asleep while using the compress.
• Use only under adult supervision.
• For extreme, prolonged or chronic pain, seek medical attention.
• Use as directed only.
• Heating beyond the suggested time may damage or destroy the Therapearl Compress.
• Do not puncture the pad or ingest its contents.
• External use only.
