Carbocisteine 2% children Mylan - 125 ml : Carbocisteine 2% syrup is indicated in case of obstruction of the bronchi

This drug is recommended in states of congestion of the bronchi, in particular during acute episodes of bronchitis in children over 2 years old. This drug is a thinner of bronchial secretions, it facilitates their evacuation by coughing.
oral use. Child from 2 to 5 years old, 1 to 2 teaspoon (5 ml), 3 times a day for 5 days. Child (> 5 years old), 1 teaspoon 3 times a day for 5 days. If there is no improvement and/or worsening, consult a doctor. The last dose should not be taken after 6 p.m.
Cough is a sudden and noisy exhalation, reflex or voluntary, ensuring the brutal expulsion of the air contained in the lungs in response to irritation.
It is a normal reaction of the airways to free them from bronchial secretions. It is also a reflex response triggered by various inflammatory irritations, most often linked to an infection or an allergy, but also chemical or mechanical. This medication is a fluidizer of bronchial secretions and thus facilitates their evacuation by coughing.
It is recommended in the states of congestion of the bronchi especially in acute bronchitis.

· in case of fatty or purulent expectoration,
· if you have chronic (long-term) bronchial and lung disease.
It is advisable not to take a cough medication or bronchial drying medication during the treatment period with this medication.
Treatment should not be continued if symptoms worsen. In this case, consult your doctor for a re-evaluation of your treatment.
The use of this medication is not recommended in patients with fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome or sucrase / isomaltase deficiency (rare hereditary diseases).

In case of stomach or duodenal ulcer, PREVENT YOUR DOCTOR.
This medicine contains sodium. This medicine contains 13 mg of sodium per 5 ml of syrup. To be taken into account in patients controlling their sodium dietary intake.

· Risk of aggravation of bronchial congestion in infants.
· Allergic skin reactions such as itching, rash, urticaria and swelling of the face.
· Possible digestive disorders: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, upset stomach.
