Carbocisteine UPSA 5% Syrup without sugar 200ml

UPSA Cabocisteine syrup is for adults only. It is used in case of recent fatty cough with difficulty in expectorating.

What is a fatty cough ?
Oily cough is also called productive cough because it produces sputum, unlike dry cough. Sputum is released to clear the mucus that has been produced by certain cells in the airways. These phlegm make it possible to trap microbes, fine irritating particles or even the pus which are there so that they can be easily evacuated.
This expectoration is essential to clean, among other things, the lungs and the bronchi, but also because it avoids blocking breathing, and therefore triggering asphyxiation.

When should Carbocisteine UPSA 5% Sugar-free syrup 200ml be used?

Carbocisteine 5% oily cough syrup from UPSA laboratories is a cough syrup indicated for adults to thin the secretions (phlegm) present in the bronchi.

Oily cough, what is it due to ?
Oily or productive cough is characterized by the presence of sputum or sputum from the throat or lungs. This clinical manifestation is generally observed in the context of bronchitis or colds even if environmental factors such as dust or tobacco can also cause it.
It is important not to try to stop this "productive" cough which is a defense mechanism of the organism and allows the evacuation of the phlegm which clogs the bronchi. We can nevertheless try to help him finish his work as quickly as possible.
