Symptomatic treatment of constipation including low rectal dyschezia. Preparation for endoscopic examinations of the rectum.

GLYCERINE SUPPOSITORY ADULT GIFRER BOX OF 10

Terminal or distal constipation: evacuation problem

It is our rectum, the last part of the intestine before the anus, that sends the brain the signal that it is time to have a bowel movement. Indeed, our rectum distends as fecal matter arrives, and this distension is reported to the central nervous system. Then, when we are in the toilet, the brain will give the anal canal the order to relax to allow the evacuation of stool. But this mechanism is not always fully operational, and when it seizes up, we speak of terminal constipation (because it is played at the end of the digestion process).

Description of Glycerin adult suppository gifrer box of 10

Glycerine Suppository Adult Gifrer Box of 10 is recommended for the symptomatic treatment of low constipation, in particular by rectal dyschesia, as well as in the event of preparation for endoscopic examinations of the rectum. These suppositories trigger a contraction of the rectum which will allow the evacuation of stools which are blocked and which the patient does not manage to evacuate spontaneously.
