Suppository to Glycerin Constipation Child Mayoli 10 is a symptomatic treatment of low constipation including rectal dyschesia . It is a rectal laxative and is used for the treatment of transient constipation of the child.
Suppositories with glycerin cause rapid evacuation of the rectosigmoid by triggering the reflex of defecation. This occurs within 5 to 30 minutes after setting.
Glycerin stimulates peristaltic movements and decreases water absorption thanks to its osmotic and hygroscopic properties . It also has a local irritating power that participates in reflex defecation .

Advice for use and dosage

• Children from 2 to 6 years : 1 suppository 5 to 30 minutes before the time chosen for the exemption.
• Children over 6 years : 1 suppository 5 to 30 minutes before the time chosen for the exemption to be renewed eventually in half an hour or the next hour in case of rebellious constipation.

The treatment of constipation should not, on average, exceed 10 days.
