Cytolnat CENTELLA SOOTHING CREAM REPAIR 100ML Centella Asiatica
Cytolnat Centella is a soothing and restorative care for the assaulted and injured skin.
Properties Centella cream Cytolnat
The Centella asiatica has been used for over 3000 years in traditional Chinese medicine, Malaysian and Indian as healing, but also for the treatment of skin diseases. In Europe, it is from the 19th century that Centella asiatica began to interest researchers. In 1852, Boileau, French physician Maurice and Hunter Island in 1855 hospitals in Madras, used it in the treatment of leprosy.
The Centella asiatica was also used as healing in the treatment of varicose ulcers, burns and bedsores. The first dry extraction was only produced in 1941, three years before P. Boiteau isolated active principles. Advances in chemistry have allowed the realization of titrated extract (TECA) Centella asiatica containing 60% Asian and madecassic acid and 40% asiaticoside which are used in topical preparations in concentrations between 0.1 and 1%.
Mode of action of Centella cream Cytolnat
The action of Centella Cytolnat based on the synergy between its dosage "oil in water emulsion" with moisturizing properties, emollient and film promotes healing without crust and pharmacological properties of the titrated extract of Centella asiatica.

Its pharmaceutical formulation "oil in water emulsion" helps restore the hydro-lipid film skin, natural protective barrier.
Indeed, it contains:
- a film forming agent, squalane, which isolates the wound from the outside.
- of hydration and emollients that help create a moist microclimate in the wound, promoting healing without crust.
- two surfactants, a surfactant (triethanolamine stearate) and other nonionic (glyceryl stearate) which provide a drainage and debridement of the wound and thus better healing.
With its extract of Centella asiatica (Hydrocotyle), a plant native to East Africa and India, Cytolnat Centella has a protective role against free radicals by increasing cellular antioxidant and also helps strengthen the healing process of healing by stimulation of the biosynthesis of collagen and fibroblastogenèse.

The Centella Asiatica in healing
For many years, scientific research has focused on the properties of Centella asiatica. In this respect, recent clinical studies show that Centella asiatica effectively improves wound healing process by stimulating the production of cellular antioxidants (1) and the production of fibroblasts (cells which produce components such as collagen of the dermis and elastin) (2).
