Description PiC CardioSimple fully automatic arm
The PiC Solution product line is manufactured to the highest quality standards by Artsana SpA, the market leader in Italy.
Among the brands produced by Artsana SpA, we mention: Chicco, Boppy, Prenatal, Lycia, Control.
The wide range of products includes: nebulizers, thermometers, tensiometers, hot / cold;
PiC Solution CardioMaxi is a clinically validated device - special accuracy and repeatability, proven by independent testing by specialist institutes and accredited physicians.
This device uses the oscillometric method to measure blood pressure.
The measurement is already performed during the inflation phase of the cuff. The CardioMaxi Tensiometer of the PiC solution has been clinically validated according to the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) protocol as a guarantee of accuracy and accuracy.
For accurate home BP measurements, the exclusive use of medically approved voltage meters is essential.
By "clinical validation" we mean a standardized process that aims to certify the accuracy and reliability of blood pressure measuring devices.
Regular use of the blood pressure monitor will allow you to continually monitor your blood pressure, but this monitoring should not replace regular visits to your doctor.
The blood pressure measurements determined with this device are equivalent to those obtained by a specialized medical establishment using the method of listening / stethoscopic cuff within the limits prescribed by the International Protocol (Validation of ESH).

Our opinion of pharmacy experts on the CARDIO SIMPLE blood pressure monitor
Manufacture controlled by EEC standards in ITALY.
PIC is Europe's leading manufacturer of medical devices and devices.
Pic Solution tensiometers are medical devices that comply with the European directive 93/42, which regulates electromedical devices.
Pic Solution devices are clinically validated according to the SP 10 protocol written by the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation (AAMI), an American association operating since 1967 that creates reference standards guaranteeing high levels of reliability and precision in the electro medical. They have also been very successful in testing the European Society of Hypertension's (ESH) severe international protocol, which has stated that our instruments have a high level of accuracy and can be recommended for clinical and home use.
How to measure blood pressure correctly?
Our pharmacist tips for measuring blood pressure simply
Always measure blood pressure at the same time. Since each of us has about 100,000 different levels of blood pressure each day, individual measurements have no validity. Only regular measurements at the same times of the day, over a long period, allow a relevant assessment of blood pressure.
Do not drink nicotine and coffee in the hour before measuring your blood pressure at home or in a pharmacy.
After a rest period of 5 to 10 minutes, take the measurement of your arterial pressure while seated.
Do not measure blood pressure when you feel a urge to urinate. A full bladder may cause an increase in blood pressure of approx. 10 mm Hg.
Before measuring the blood pressure, read the instructions for use of the blood pressure monitor carefully. The correct use of the blood pressure monitors guarantees the quality of the measurements and allows accurate results to be obtained.
When using a wrist blood pressure monitor, keep your wrist at the heart during measurement. When using an arm measuring device, the upper arm is automatically at the correct height.
During the measurement, do not speak and do not move. Speaking increases the values of approx. 6 - 7 mm Hg.
Wait at least 1 minute between measurements so that the vessels are no longer under pressure during the new measurement.
Write down the values in a measurement booklet: always record the measured values as well as the medications taken and the date and time of measurement.
Measure your blood pressure regularly. Even if your values have improved, you should continue to measure your blood pressure as a control.
Taking care of yourself is also keeping an eye on your health . Regular monitoring of your blood pressure is essential if you want to detect in time and treat these diseases effectively. The voltage tap with an electronic tensiometer is based on the oscillometric method. This method uses the analysis of oscillations of the arterial wall.
Blood pressure reflects the blood pressure in the arteries . It is expressed by two numbers: The first digit (the highest), corresponds to the systolic pressure , that is to say to the pressure of the blood when the heart contracts and empties. The second digit, (the weakest), is the diastolic pressure , that is, the blood pressure when the heart relaxes and fills up.
Blood pressure is not fixed, but varies continuously. It increases with the effort, particularly strong emotions but goes down to rest or night. Blood pressure is generally considered "normal" if it is less than 140 mm of mercury for systolic blood pressure and less than 90 mm of mercury for diastolic blood pressure . We talk about high blood pressure when the blood pressure in the arteries is regularly too high. Several tests, at rest, are necessary to diagnose hypertension, because there is a borderline zone between normal blood pressure and true hypertension, which may correspond to either early hypertension or simply reflect the variability of blood pressure.
