Emoflon Rectal Ointment for Hemorrhoids 25g helps treat and relieve symptoms associated with hemorrhoidal disease.

What is Emoflon rectal ointment for hemorrhoids 25g used for?

This rectal ointment is recommended in the treatment of symptoms related to hemorrhoidal disease and its complications (eg eczema, anal fissure). Emoflon ointment covers and protects the epidermis; it soothes inflamed and itchy skin , thus promoting skin regeneration. It decreases the dryness of the skin, thus contributing to the healing of the lesions , and reduces the risk of fissures and injuries caused by defecation.

How to properly use this anti-hemorrhoid ointment?

It is indicated to use the rectal ointment once or twice a day. Apply the hemorrhoid ointment around the anus, possibly after a bowel movement or a sitz bath, or apply a small amount of the ointment (about the size of a pea) into the rectum using the applicator.

  • The applicator must be properly screwed onto the tube.
  • Clean the applicator with hot water and soap and close the tube with the protective cap after use.
  • It is recommended to wash your hands before and after using the ointment.
  • The applicator can only be used by one person.
  • The duration of this treatment depends on the improvement of symptoms, but this ointment can be used for up to 4 weeks without interruption.
  • A doctor should be consulted if symptoms do not improve after 1 to 2 weeks.

Hemorrhoids cause mild and frequent disorders that must be treated when they become bothersome.

In case of chronic pathology, it is possible to combine this treatment with L28 LEHNING oral drops , homeopathic treatment for venous circulation disorders (varicose veins, varicose ulcers, hemorrhoids).

In many cases, hemorrhoids are linked to constipation . To restore transit, dietary measures must be adopted first. If that's not enough, treatment for constipation with a laxative can help.
Laxatives are medicines (natural or not) that soften the stools and increase their volume, thus accelerating intestinal transit and combating constipation. In case of hemorrhoids , it is advisable to favor osmotic laxatives ( macrogol type).

To relieve the crisis, a few basic tips are sometimes enough. Care must be taken to maintain impeccable anal hygiene, limit irritation with too dry toilet paper (prefer baby wipes), apply cold (towel, compresses or sitz bath), avoid foods that can irritate the mucous membranes ( coffee, tea, spices, mustard, alcohol ...), avoid efforts leading to an increase in blood pressure (carrying heavy objects ...) and avoid constipation (by adopting a diet rich in fiber).

What is the composition of Emoflon ointment?

Sucralfate, cocoa butter, lanolin (plant origin), white petrolatum, white beeswax, purified water, caprilyl glycol, calendula extract, chamomile extract, witch hazel leaf extract.

What are the side effects and contraindications ?

The use of any local treatment, especially long-term, may cause hypersensitivity reactions, the symptoms of which may be a burning sensation, itching, pain or erythema. In this case, it is recommended to stop the treatment and consult a doctor.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mouth. Do not swallow. Must not be used in the vagina.
