Mustela Maternity Stretch Mark Prevention Cream 150ml on sale in our baby - maternity area: Mustela stretch mark care oil helps prevent the appearance of stretch marks by helping the skin to better resist the stretching associated with pregnancy.

Mustela Maternity Stretch Mark Prevention Cream 150ml

Stretch marks are unsightly purplish streaks caused by distension of the elastic cells of the skin, often linked to rapid weight gain, during puberty or pregnancy.

Apart from the classic anti-stretch mark creams, which keep the skin hydrated, there are surgical treatments (laser, peeling or injections) to fight against stretch marks.

How to prevent stretch marks?

To avoid stretch marks, remember to maintain the elasticity of the skin and thus prevent it from cracking and revealing purple welts. For this, hydration is essential on the areas where stretch marks are most common: the buttocks, stomach, chest, thighs and hips.

It is possible to significantly reduce stretch marks and scars naturally, in particular thanks to the action of essential oils:

Our aromatherapist pharmacist recommends the use on scars and stretch marks of essential oil of Helichrysum italicum (everlasting flower from Italy) , combined with a vegetable oil (for example, rosehip vegetable oil).

Apply a few drops morning and evening, their action helps to fade scars, and by extension stretch marks. For optimal effectiveness, the mixture is composed of 10% Helichrysum italicum and 90% Rosehip vegetable oil . For application, add a few drops of this blend of essential oils to your organic moisturizer to apply to targeted areas.

Immortelle essential oil can be replaced by rosemary verbenone essential oil.
