• Silicone pacifier: more recent, this pacifier is characterized by a neutral taste and odor, but also by greater rigidity. It is stronger , easier to clean than the rubber baby pacifier and without risk of allergy.

Both of these materials may be suitable for a toddler. The ideal is therefore to offer these two types of pacifiers to baby to see which he prefers. Silicone pacifiers are now the most common.
