What are the indications for Ladrôme Organic Fennel Extracts Mother Tincture?

Fennel is a plant that we know for its pronounced aniseed aromas: either we love it or we hate it. Many people are unaware that fennel has well-known properties and health benefits. Since ancient times, we have developed a specific affinity with this vegetable.

Fennel is a vegetable of which we eat mainly the base of the stem, called the bulb. In gastronomy it goes wonderfully with fish and seafood. We would have everything to gain from consuming its leaves more often, which contain antioxidant principles.

Fennel is low in calories with 21.8 Cal/100g. It is rich in fiber , potassium and folic acid (vitamin B9). Fennel is rich in antioxidants that could defend body cells from damage caused by free radicals. Fennel contains polyacetylenes, bioactive compounds that have been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, among other things.

Renowned for its carminative and antispasmodic properties, fennel helps limit the formation of intestinal gas and is therefore very useful in the fight against bloating , flatulence , colitis and stomach aches .

Fennel contains phyto-oestogens known to maintain a good level of female hormone, regulate the menstrual cycle or even reduce hot flashes associated with menopause.
Its anti-spasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties also soothe menstrual pain. Antiviral, anti-infectious and antifungal, fennel helps fight against many infections. Anti-microbial and expectorant, fennel extracts are effective in fighting coughs, lung mucus and inflammation of the respiratory tract.
