Our advice and opinions from pharmacy experts

The flea is the most frequent ectoparasite infesting carnivores (dogs, cat, kitten and puppy), in all environments (forest, rural, urban).
In the natural environment and in hot zones, they are observed all year round. In temperate and cold zones, its infestations are more important from spring to autumn. Below 0 ° C, most fleas and flea larvae die, but migratory birds bring them back from the south, and a number survive in burrows, near hibernants in particular, or in houses.
Infested pets (dogs, cats, kitten and puppies) sow flea eggs (sometimes called parquet fleas). These flea eggs wait for favorable conditions to hatch, usually all at the same time.

No natural or chemical insecticide solution can be effective if your dog or cat is already infested because your home, car and outbuildings have already become a refuge for fleas. It is then necessary to immediately disinsect all places of life with Foggers and / or to maintain with a natural insecticidal lotion for the habitat.
