For external use, homeopathic remedies can be incorporated into ointments or liniments.
How to take your homeopathic treatment: Let the granules or globules melt under the tongue, away from food or drink for optimum absorption. Avoid taking your homeopathic treatment at the same time as mint, coffee or chamomile, which reduce absorption. Homeopathy and aromatherapy should not be taken at the same time, as the effect of the homeopathy would be nullified. Respect a two-hour interval between the two treatments. The granules or globules marketed by the Boiron laboratory are made with sucrose and lactose. Taking twenty granules (or one dose of globules) provides one gram of sugar, or one-fifth of a sugar cube.
Howto use homeopathic remedies: The frequency of use depends on the intensity of the disorder and the time of onset. In the case of chronic disorders, remedies are repeated 1 or 2 times a day. Recommended times: morning and evening, before meals. The important thing is to take the remedy at least 10 minutes after any food intake for low dilutions, 1 hour for medium dilutions and 2 hours for high dilutions. Even so, remedies can be seen to take effect during meals, and even in coffee. The higher the dilution, the further apart it should be taken; in chronic cases: 7 days, 10 days, 12 days, 15 days. If you forget to take the remedy, postpone taking it until the day you realize you've forgotten.If you forget to take the remedy, postpone taking it until the day you forget, but postpone taking the next high dilution by the same amount (unless the date of action in the month is specific, which only exists for certain remedies). In acute cases, the frequency (quantity is irrelevant) should be greater, and remedies may be taken every 2 hours, every hour, every 1/2 hour or even more, depending on the intensity of the symptoms. As soon as there's an improvement, the remedies should be taken at longer intervals.
